Reporting from Japan Today, this study was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine based on research on about 90 thousand participants. It is known that people who walk or garden between 10 minutes and one hour each week have an 18 percent lower risk of death than those who keepsilent.
Two and a half to five hours doing these activities every week can reduce the risk more by 31 percent. Whereas when carried out no less than 25 hours, the risk even decreased by almost 50 percent.
Although researchers revealed that not everyone has that much free time. Therefore, activities that pump more heart like cycling, running, or other sports can also be replaced in the short term. And it’s a good way to prevent heart disease.
"This (exercise) is more time-efficient than medium-intensity activities," explained the researcher.
But unfortunately, in cardiovascular diseases, there is no difference between doing this activity either between 5 or 25 hours. The researchers said that the research they carried out was only observational, even though the amount of data used could be a sign that this was experienced a lot.
