Researchers from the United States claimed that the
consumption of 45 sweet cherry fruit every day can blood flow and prevent a
variety of diseases.
The study is a collaboration of experts rather than the
University of California and the Western Human Nutrition Research Center's
Agriculture Research Service.
As reported by the United Press International, researchers
recruited 18 men and women aged 41-61 years. Respondents were then asked to
consume 45 sweet cherry fruit every day for 28 days (numbering around 280
grams).
The result, researchers found that cherry consumption makes
C-reactive protein compounds that cause inflammation lowers the risk of heart
disease and other diseases have increased.
Indirectly, eating sweet cherry fruit every day can prevent
various diseases caused by inflammation. These diseases include rheumatoid
arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease (heart
disease and stroke).
The results subsequently published in the Journal of
Nutrition.
