Recent research shows that enjoying lunch at your desk can
make employees more productive than if they eat out.
According to researchers, employees who spend one hour at the
break for lunch at the restaurant tends to be less focused when returning to
work. Also decreased brain function so employees difficult to concentrate on
work.
"But there are advantages also eat outside during the
lunch break, for example, keeps the body and mind relax. Yet productivity is
likely to decline," said lead researcher Dr. Werner Sommer of Humboldt
University in Berlin.
As reported by the Daily Mail, while eating lunch at your
desk, the employee is said to focus on his work. Productivity so that they stay
awake until the end of working hours.
Unfortunately, some previous studies it mentions that lunch
at your desk can increase the risk of death. Because the body is not rested and
the longer employees sat facing the computer screen.
The results then reported in the journal Public Library of
Science ONE.
