If you want to quickly lose weight, do not try to dietalone. Should join in a group weight loss program or diet ask your friends together. Why?

A recent study from the Baylor College of Medicine in Texas article mentions that a person who joined the group Weight Watchers diet could slim five times faster than trying to lose weight alone.

At least within three months, weight loss can take place more quickly and effectively if a person joins the group and follow the rules of a particular diet program.

"The difference in weight loss is pretty shocking. So diet alone did not seem like a good idea," said lead researcher Dr. Craig Johnston, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

A total of 147 respondents were asked to follow a diet with Weight Watchers program. Then another 145 respondents were instructed to diet alone.

Both groups were given materials about the basics of diet and exercise guide for losing weight. But within three and six months, researchers found that the first group is more successful in losing weight.

Researchers added that diet alone to guide a professional nutritionist is also not much help. Joining the group is obviously much more effective diet and spend a fairly low cost.

The results are then reported in the British Medical Journal.
