Sleep is not just an activity close your eyes for a few
seconds. When you fall asleep, the body will do some 'repair' or improvement

A study conducted at Henry Ford Hospital 18 volunteers to
see how their sensitivity to pain. Volunteers were divided into several groups,
some 8 hours of sleep each night; there is also a 10-hour sleep. The research
team then experimented with a closer hand volunteer at a heat source.
The volunteers who slept for 10 hours more able to withstand
pain by 25 percent compared to volunteers who slept 8 hours. Thus, it is
evident that sleep is not simply turning a blind eye. Body build a stronger
defense when you're sleeping, thus improving the body from within.
