A recent study found that high blood sugar levels in the blood causes a person's face look older than her actual age.

A research collaboration between the Leiden University Medical Centre and the Unilever R & D to find a relationship between blood sugar levels in humans and age face.

People aged between 50-70 years with a high sugar content will look older than those
with lower sugar content.

The study involved 600 men and women aged 50-70 years in the Netherlands. The researchers concluded that each 1 mmol / liter increase in blood sugar levels, a person's face will look older than five months as quoted medicmagic page.

Diana Van Heemst, Professor of Leiden University Medical Center said the study shows the importance of controlling blood sugar levels for the health of people in middle age and older. Researchers have shown that high sugar levels is not good for health. But this study proves, blood sugar also makes people look younger. The research, published in the state of AGE, but more study is needed to determine the main cause.
