Punjabi Desi Girls

If you often feel hungry and eat in excess because of hunger, could become your lack of protein intake in daily food menu. Launched by Genius Beauty, a study conducted by Cambridge University and the University of Sydney under the supervision of Alison Grosby. They are looking for a relationship between hunger and intake of protein consumed.

The study involved 22 volunteers who had normal weight. They were all given the same food type, but has a level difference in the amount of protein-containing foods in the menu to be eaten. Their diet is a muffin for breakfast, grilled tuna with salad for lunch and pasta spaghetti with dessert for dinner.

Protein Helps Overcome Temptation of Eating Too Much

The result, volunteers who put 10% of protein in the diet consumed 260 calories more than the volunteers who received 15% protein in their menu. In the first group, they not only eat more, but also acquire an additional 70% of calories from snacks they consume (beyond the menu of food provided researchers).

Looks tempting indeed, but of course, protein intake also should not be excessive. In that study, volunteers who consumed more than 25% protein did not help overcome the problem of overeating. But of course, protein intake is said by the volunteers can make them not feel hungry for two hours after eating.

If you want to suppress the habit of overeating and eating snacks because they feel hungry between meals, just enter the nutrients in the form of the protein on the daily menu. Protein can be obtained from meat, fish, eggs and nuts.
