Given the growing hotel business in the country of Hilton Worldwide plans to open 19 hotels in next five years. The six hotels will come into operation in 2011.
Hilton Worldwide president (Asia - Pacific) Martin rink told PTI currently our plan to open 19 hotels in India. These hotels are spread across the country are in various stages of development. These hotels metros, medium and small cities will be opened.
Rink said the U.S. group in 2011 is expected to come into operation six hotel. These hotels will have about 1,000 rooms.
Hilton Worldwide currently has three hotels in India. These Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Delhi at the Hilton Mumbai International Airport in Mumbai. He said India's rapid growth in the hotel sector. So much potential here for growth.
Asked about investing Rink said the company will expand mainly under management Anunbdh. However, it is that we will not consider investing strategy, but now our priority is to expand through management contracts.
