You'd better think twice if you want to borrow a friend's
phone. For a recent survey reveals the fact that quite surprisingly, more and
more people carry cell phone when going to the toilet.
A total of 2,000 people were included in the survey. About
three-quarters of the respondents admitted that they still use the phone while
going to the bathroom. They also chose to sit on the toilet instead of standing
in order to remain able to communicate via cell phone.
In detail, 59 percent of respondents send SMS during a bowel
movement, then 45 percent of them typing emails.
Not only that, magazines and newspapers as a human friend
when the toilet has been replaced by apps and games in the phone. Even 29
percent of respondents said they felt bored while on the toilet therefore
prefer to play phone.
As reported by The Daily News (07/03), a survey was
conducted by the company Sony and O2 in the UK that was waterproof smart phone
market. Well, at least this is good news for those who want to shower while
carrying a cell phone.
Even so, take your phone to the toilet is a bad habit to
threaten health. Because most people do not wash their hands after leaving the
restroom. While the phone itself is the most electronic thing rarely cleaned.
So there must be millions of bacteria that nest in them.
